Working For Us

Whether or not we are currently advertising any job vacancies, we are keen to hear from anyone – from new graduates to seasoned industry professionals – who shares our passion for sustainability and innovation.

Working for Barrington Energy means being a part of one of the offshore wind industry’s leading management and consultancy teams. As a group we are all passionate about using our skills to help respond to the urgent challenge of decreasing the world’s reliance on fossil fuels, and enjoy working on real-world solutions to complex problems.

Although Barrington is a lean, ambitious company, we also pride ourselves on operating in a friendly and straightforward manner, and place a high value on good working relationships. We also aim to put all our people in clearly defined roles that help progress not only Barrington’s development but also their personal career objectives.

Barrington Energy is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all, and actively encourage applications from those with any protected characteristics. We are also committed to providing any reasonable adjustments required during the application and assessment process, and upon someone joining the team.

Vacancies

In delivering some of the offshore wind industry’s best management and consultancy services, Barrington Energy often expands its core team by drawing on relationships with a range of highly qualified professionals. Depending on the demands of a particular project, these associate team members either work on rotation between the wind farm site and our UK office (in Norwich, Norfolk), or when direct contact is unnecessary, are based exclusively in the UK.

This flexible model enables us to retain skilled managers and consultants who are not in a position to commit to being based overseas full time, as well as offer them the professional and social benefits of being able to spend periods working directly with other colleagues in the UK office.

Although there are currently no vacancies at Barrington Energy, we are keen to hear from anyone who is confident they might be able to add something to the team.

Graduates

The directors of Barrington Energy are committed to sharing their professional knowledge with the upcoming generation of renewable energy professionals. Each year we run two separate graduate training schemes, which both start in late summer/autumn. Running for two years, the schemes equip graduates with all the skills they need to progress their career in offshore wind. These schemes operate in two distinct areas: Engineering and Design, and Project Controls and Project Management. If you are interested to find out more, download one of our information sheets:
